So I’m really going to do this! I’m past the point of no return. Well, more or less. I just booked my ticket to Nicaragua. I have to admit, my stomach feels a little strange. I think I’m a pretty relaxed guy. Nervous are normally not my thing, but this time it feels different.
A Dutch stand up comedian – Harrie Jekkers – once said in his one man show Going to the coast with a goldfish: ”Do you know when plans go wrong? When they get executed.” I think he’s absolutely right. Okay, plans go right as well when they get executed, but still….
Up until now it was a nice dream, a plan in the back of my mind: travelling Central America, teaching yoga and giving healing massages. Now it’s the real deal. The 26th of October I will get a board of the Condor flight leaving Frankfurt, Germany, arriving the 27th of October – on my birthday – in Nicaragua.
First up is either learning Spanish at La Mariposa Spanish School or going to Aqua Nicaragua to teach yoga and my workshop Yoga for Lovers together with Pleuni van Hulten, who will be in Nicaragua at that time as well. We’re just waiting for Aqua Nicaragua to let us know when they want to host us. That will be clear this week, so I can finish my plans for the first month. From there on it will be just one big mystery what will happen. Just the way I like it.
