Minty Moment Smoothie

It’s just another day in Paradise. Hot, sunny and the ocean 50 meters away from my room. I walked up the stairs this morning to the top of the hill, where our yoga shala is. Eddy Vedder was singing Society on my iPod shuffle and I felt overwhelmed with happiness. Again. Two hours later I had the same feeling. Walking down this time. Same song, same stairs. On my way to breakfast and on my way to order my Minty Moment Smoothie.

Yoga makes me happy, travelling makes me happy, beautiful people around me makes me happy and food makes me happy. I’ve got it all at this moment. I love Indian food, I do and teach yoga, I’m in India, playing in the ocean every day, and my friends Elena and Erwin have just. Erwin will study Thai Yoga Massage, Elena will do a Yoga Teacher Training at Sampoorna Yoga, where I will be one of her teachers.

So life is good. And as I said, it’s especially good with good food. For me good food are also good drinks. I make my own smoothies in my room, take one at Fatima’s – my favorite restaurant – and I get one at Sampoorna every day. This time I choose the Minty Moment. It looked like something that could fresh me up after teaching a Thai Yoga Massage class for two and a half hours. And it was. It was good….

Ingredients Minty Moment

  • Pineapple
  • Mint
  • Spinach
  • Cucumber
  • water (if needed)

Preparation Minty Moment

Peel the pineapple, wash the mint, spinach and the cucumber. If you have an organic cucumber don’t bother about peeling it, otherwise please do. Throw everything in the blender and mix for a few minutes. If it’s to thick, add some water.

This Yoga beginners course guides you through the first steps on your yoga mat. The course consists of seven video classes and an introduction video. The classes are between 35 and 45 minutes. The course is designed to give you the best start to yoga you can imagine.

Thai Yoga Massage

A Thai yoga massage is a beautiful gift to give and to receive. With our Thai Yoga massage video tutorial you will be able to give this gift. This tutorial will guide you step-by-step through a relaxing massage. This tutorial consists of two video of half an hour: one massage for the front of the body, one for the back of the body.

Thai yoga massage is practiced with clothes on.
