One of the hardest thing to do in yoga is to open up your hips. Especially man struggle with it, because our pelvis is built differently than that of women. As men we have a higher and more ‘closed’ pelvis; making it harder to rotate our legs outwards. These five yoga poses can help you to open your hips with more ease.

This class will guide you through pigeon pose, fire log, shoe lace, hugging baby and figure 4. The longer you stay in these poses the more you will open up your hips. If you don’t have a lot of flexibility long holds are the best to do. That way you give your body the time to open up.
