AcroYoga Workshop

AcroYoga: Come fly with me in Anjuna

Fancy doing some Acro Yoga with me? Then come fly with me in Anjuna, India on Wednesday 3rd of February. Jenn Russel and I are giving an intensive, AcroYoga workshop at Brahmani Yoga in Anjuna, Goa. We will start at 11.30 am and will go on till 6 pm. Be there and join the fun!

Jenn and I have been flying together for a few months now. We’re both teaching in Goa. She works in Patnem and Palolem, I’m teaching in Agonda. When ever we have time (which is not a lot) we pop over to have a little Acro Yoga fun. This time we want to have fun with you! We created an awesome workshop with partner yoga play, a little bit of contact improvisation, a lot of AcroYoga and some Thai Yoga massage as desert. So come and join us.

Jenn Russel

Jenn originally hails from a dance and circus background having performed professionally for 12 years. Her yoga journey began as a way to rehabilitate the frequent injuries that are so common with professional dancers. In addition to achieving a stronger, more supple body, she quickly began to experience the profound effect that yoga has not just on the body but the mind… she fell in love with this ‘moving meditation’. Following the completion of an intensive teacher training at Himalaya Yoga Valley Goa in 2012, Jenn began regularly teaching ashtanga, power and hot yoga in her native Birmingham before taking a leap of faith in 2013 and quitting her job to travel the world and teach.

John Kraijenbrink

John comes from a background of football (soccer), running (marathons) and journalism. He started his yoga journey as a skeptic, just turning to yoga in the hope to heal from a life long low back problem. Soon he discovered the philosophy and psychology behind yoga that answered a lot of questions about life he always struggled with. Now he ‘translates’ the ancient philosophy into solutions for now-a-days problems, teaches anatomy, vinyasa flow, yin yoga, AcroYoga, partner yoga, Thai Yoga massage and mindfulness. He opened a school in Tilburg, the Netherlands in 2010 and sold it in 2014 to fully devote his life to travelling, studying and teaching yoga.
